WELCOME TO
MANHATTAN GENERAL SERVICE
OF
ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS
Manhattan General Service is part of Area 49, South Eastern New York (SENY). In SENY, we have a county service structure. The county structure includes one linguistic Hispanic district that serves all Hispanic groups in SENY. About half the counties in SENY, including Manhattan, are divided into districts. In some of these counties, districts meet separately from the county meeting. In other counties, the county serves as the district. Each of the counties and the linguistic Hispanic district has a District Committee Member Chair (DCMC).

Are you interested in a particular area of service on behalf of your group or beyond the group level?
Click the buttons below to contact various service committees within Area 49 Southeast New York (SENY) to get connected to the Area Service Committees!
The only requirement for participation is that you be a member of AA.
Manhattan General Service assigns each geographic district a different service committee for each rotation; the district is then responsible for coordinating service events for and on behalf of the entire county. However. neither you nor your group need to be located in a particular geographic district to do a particular service. All service committee and district meetings are open.
